‘If You Meet The Buddha On The Road, Kill Him’

I love this saying! In a nut shell: The Buddha you meet is YOUR reality, and you have to go beyond that. You can’t put a personality onto ‘ultimate reality’. Your mind can only deal with things on a certain level and so the mind tries to make Buddha a person. We’re trying to go beyond that (the Void), you can’t put a word to ‘ultimate reality’. All our perceptions of reality is just an illusion, so you go beyond what you think enlightenment is, kill it and keep practicing meditation.

How To See Beauty, Truth And Harmony In Everything!

“Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.” ~ Confucious

Essentially Life Is Beautiful.

Some pictures of war can be very testing, but it comes down to that at life’s core, life is beautiful and that wars are simply life’s distortions. But we can, be responsible for our own perceptions. And when the whole world’s population is able to see only beauty, then that’s the end of the world!

What I mean by the end of the world is: Is there any more reason for us to come here? Of course, it may take a couple of million years.

We make the world what we see through our separate eyes, our personality body. We tend to think everything is black or white, good and bad. But if we accept there is One God, Zero Point then God is not Good or Bad but ‘Whole’. When the world was created it was ‘whole’ and not ‘separate’. Everything comes from Oneness, therefore nothing is wrong! You look beyond your ordinary eyes and see a more over view from Oneness.

“Why is everyone here so happy except me?”

“Because they have learned to see goodness and beauty everywhere,” said the Master.

“Why don’t I see goodness and beauty everywhere?”

“Because you cannot see outside of you what you fail to see inside.”
~ Anthony de Mello
